Often commuting between Chicago and Orange County, I am a senior advisor and principal for 2 Harbors Productions. From my former life as a cultural pundit, I've made numerous guest appearances on network television and radio talk shows and have been quoted in every major newspaper and newsmagazine in the country. I served seven years as an advisor to several Members of Congress and later at the State Department. Before coming to Capitol Hill, I was a nightly talk show host and political analyst. I've enjoyed success as an award-winning radio news director, newspaper correspondent, and as a columnist. Making the transition from TV to film has been great fun. On TV, most of my roles were live, involved a lot of multi-camera movements, and demanded clear, concise speaking. As a result of that experience, I comport myself professionally, work hard, and am a fast learner.
